The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Lao Ministry of Health have given the green light to vaccinate citizens over 60 years of age, as well as people with health problems, with Sinopharm’s serum. This is according to a report published today by the Center of Information and Education for Health of the Ministry of Health in Vientiane.
The Chinese vaccines are ‘safe, reliable and efficient’, assured Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune, deputy prime minister of Laos and chairman of the National Taskforce Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, during the handover ceremony of the third batch of vaccines donated by China, held in the capital Vientiane last week. Kikeo added that the country has already given Sinopharm to the most exposed border personnel, health workers and some citizens.

L’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanita’ (OMS) e il ministero della Salute del Laos hanno dato il via libera alla vaccinazione dei cittadini di eta’ superiore ai 60 anni, nonche’ delle persone con problemi di salute ,con il siero della Sinopharm. Lo afferma un rapporto pubblicato oggi dal Center of Information and Education for Health del ministero della Salute di Vientiane.
I vaccini cinesi sono “sicuri, affidabili ed efficienti”, ha assicurato Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune, vice primo ministro del Laos e presidente della National Taskforce Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control durante la cerimonia di consegna del terzo lotto di vaccini donati dalla Cina, tenutasi nella capitale Vientiane la scorsa settimana. Kikeo ha inoltre aggiunto che il Paese ha gia’ somministrato Sinopharm al personale di frontiera piu’ esposto, agli operatori sanitari e ad alcuni cittadini.
